Welcome to Birdies Social Club. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Birdies website, reservations, lessons, memberships, packages, events, and other services.
By visiting our website, purchasing a membership or package, making a reservation, or participating in a Birdies activity, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Birdies
Birdies Social Club provides Mahjong play, lessons, memberships, private events, leagues, social gatherings, and related experiences.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a membership, package, reservation, or event ticket unless a specific youth program permits registration by a parent or legal guardian.
Anyone purchasing on behalf of another person confirms that they have permission to provide that person’s information and accept any applicable policies on their behalf.
3. Reservations and Payments
Reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until payment or any required deposit has been successfully processed.
Prices, reservation lengths, inclusions, and capacity limits are shown during booking. Applicable taxes and additional charges will be disclosed before checkout.
Birdies may correct pricing or scheduling errors and contact you if a reservation is affected.
4. Open Play and Table Reservations
Open Play seat reservations are priced per person. Guests booking multiple seats are responsible for providing accurate participant information and ensuring that everyone in their group understands Birdies policies.
A full-table reservation is intended for a group of up to four players unless otherwise stated. Reservations may not be resold, transferred for profit, or used for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Open Play does not include instruction unless the reservation specifically identifies guided play or another instructional component.
5. Lessons and Guided Play
Lessons and guided-play sessions are educational and recreational experiences. Instruction may vary based on the participants’ experience levels, class size, instructor, and selected lesson.
Completion of a lesson does not guarantee a particular skill level, competition result, or outcome.
6. Reservation Changes and Cancellations
Because Birdies experiences are intentionally limited in size, advance notice is required when plans change.
Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the reservation.
Birdies credit has no cash value and must be used within any expiration period communicated when the credit is issued.
These policies reflect the current reservation structure described in the Birdies offerings document.
7. Late Arrivals
Guests should arrive early enough to check in and be seated before the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals may receive a shortened experience and may not be permitted to join if doing so would significantly disrupt a lesson, game, or event. Late arrival does not entitle the guest to a refund or credit.
8. Memberships
Membership benefits vary by membership level and are described on the membership purchase page.
Memberships may include benefits such as:
Benefits are subject to availability, scheduling, capacity limits, and any restrictions listed for the selected membership.
Membership benefits cannot be exchanged for cash.
9. Automatic Renewal and Recurring Billing
By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorize Birdies and its payment processor to charge the payment method on file according to the billing frequency displayed at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated, recurring memberships automatically renew until canceled.
Before purchase, the checkout page will disclose:
Birdies will provide renewal notices and cancellation options as required by applicable law. Colorado law imposes notice and cancellation requirements on many automatic-renewal contracts, including online cancellation access when a customer enrolls online.
10. Membership Cancellation

11. Membership Use

Unless a membership specifically includes guest benefits, a member’s subscription covers only the member’s seat. Additional guest seats must be reserved and paid for separately.
Birdies may request identification or account verification.
Misuse of a membership or subscription code may result in suspension or termination without refund.
12. Unlimited Open Play
“Unlimited” Open Play is subject to:
Unlimited access does not guarantee availability at a particular table, time, or event.
Birdies may establish reasonable booking limits to prevent seat hoarding, repeated no-shows, or reservations that unfairly prevent other members from participating.
13. Packages and Passes
The Open Play 10-Pack includes ten qualifying Open Play seat reservations and expires one year after purchase unless otherwise stated.
Packages:
Unused visits expire at the end of the package period unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Private Events and Full Buyouts
A 50% deposit is required to hold a private-event date unless another amount is stated in the proposal or invoice.
The remaining balance is due seven days before the event.
Private-event deposits may be refundable when cancellation is received at least 30 days before the event, subject to the specific agreement provided at booking. Cancellations made fewer than 30 days before the event may result in forfeiture of the deposit and any other amounts identified in the event agreement.
Private events may have separate terms covering:
When private-event terms conflict with this general page, the signed private-event agreement controls.
15. Alcohol
Alcohol may only be possessed, served, or consumed in accordance with applicable law and Birdies policies.
Guests consuming alcohol must be at least 21 years old and may be required to show valid government-issued identification.
Birdies may refuse service or ask a guest to leave if the guest appears intoxicated, behaves unsafely, disrupts others, or violates applicable policies.
Guests are responsible for arranging safe transportation and must not drive while impaired.
16. Food, Allergies, and Dietary Needs
Birdies may offer complimentary snacks, nonalcoholic beverages, catered items, or food provided by third parties.
Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should notify Birdies before their reservation. Birdies cannot guarantee that food or beverages will be free from allergens or cross-contact.
Guests remain responsible for deciding whether any food or beverage is appropriate for them.
17. Conduct and Community Standards
Birdies is intended to be a welcoming and respectful community.

Birdies may remove a guest, suspend privileges, or terminate a membership when conduct threatens the safety, comfort, reputation, or operation of the club.
Serious or repeated violations may result in removal without refund.
18. Personal Property and Damage
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Birdies is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Guests may be held financially responsible for intentional, reckless, or negligent damage to Birdies property, including Mahjong tiles, racks, tables, décor, furnishings, equipment, and facilities.
19. Assumption of Risk
Participation in Birdies activities is voluntary.
Guests understand that social gatherings, food and beverage service, movement through the premises, and participation in games and events involve ordinary risks.
By participating, guests accept those risks to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms waives rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived.
20. Photography and Media
Birdies may occasionally photograph or record general club activities for promotional purposes.
When practical, Birdies will notify guests that photography or filming is taking place. Guests who do not wish to appear should notify a staff member.
Private-event photography, branded group photos, testimonials, and identifiable promotional content may require separate permission.
A separate photo release is recommended for recognizable marketing images, especially for minors.
21. Minors
Children may only participate in programs specifically designated for their age group.
A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and any required waiver for a minor.
Minors must be supervised as required by the particular program. Birdies does not provide childcare unless a program expressly states otherwise.
22. Website Use
You agree not to:
Birdies may restrict access when misuse is suspected.
23. Intellectual Property
The Birdies name, logos, branding, website copy, photographs, graphics, table concepts, educational materials, digital resources, and related content are owned by Birdies or used with permission.
They may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, sold, or commercially used without prior written permission.
24. Third-Party Services
Birdies may use third-party platforms to process:
Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Birdies is not responsible for outages or failures caused by third-party platforms, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist affected customers.
25. Schedule and Program Changes
Birdies may change instructors, tables, schedules, event details, offerings, benefits, or availability when reasonably necessary.
When Birdies cancels an event or reservation, guests may receive a rescheduled session, Birdies credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
26. Disclaimer
Birdies services are provided on an “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Birdies does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific outcomes, or that every offering will remain available indefinitely.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Birdies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, participation in an activity, inability to attend, loss of personal property, or use of third-party services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Birdies’ total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific reservation, package, membership period, or event giving rise to the claim.
28. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Birdies harmless from claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, misuse of a membership, or intentional or negligent damage caused by you or your guests.
29. Changes to These Terms
Birdies may update these Terms periodically.
The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material membership changes will be communicated when required by law.
Continued use of Birdies services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is legally required.
